Almond, cashew & cinnamon nut butter


🌰Almond, cashew & cinnamon nut butter🌰
🔹100g cashews
🔹100g almonds
🔹1 teaspoon cinnamon
🔸Preheat an oven to 140 degrees (fan).
🔸Spread the nuts out onto a baking tray.
🔸Bake for 10 minutes, stiring/turning them briefly half way through baking.
🔸Leave to cool for 10 minutes or so, ideally transferring them onto a cool plate. 🔸Put the nuts into a food processor and blend. This will require some patients as the nuts go from whole to cumbs to a big ball and then finally a smooth texture.
🔸Stop and pause blitzing if you feel your food processor overheats, let it cool down and then restart. Mine didn’t have any problems.
🔸Once the nuts have become all smooth then, and only then, add the cinnamon.
🔸Blend a little more and then voila! You have yourself some homemade but butter!
Served here on sourdough with some raspberries 😊…. Struggling to make nut butter look as good as it tastes!
